South Africa Safaris

One of the world's first wildlife conservation areas, Kruger National Park is a major highlight of South Africa safaris. Many South Africa safaris also feature guided tours of Cape Town, the oldest European settlement in the country. Sightseeing stops can include Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope, the Houses of Parliament and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Ride a cable car to the top of Table Mountain for outstanding views of the city and Table Bay.

Cool Atlantic waters and warm Indian Ocean waters converge at Cape Point Peninsula, resulting in highly diverse marine biology in the area. Some tour operators feature a cruise to Seal Island for an up-close view of fur seals. South Africa safaris can also venture into the scenic wine-producing regions just outside Cape Town, where guests enjoy wine tastings at historic estates.
